Current mood: hungry

old people and laxatives
i have this day job (at night i become the renowned superhero and fight dr. evil) that i sometimes do on the weekends; i am the sampler lady. yes, that job that old women have at your local kroger and walmart and hand out food samples to everyone and maybe even sometimes threaten you with. there was this carb chef the great that was there demoing his low carb items who will have his show on pbs this january. i don't really understand this low carb diet that seems to be taking over the world these days; the food items contain so much fat. i do believe, however, it is a brainwashing maneuver, because everywhere you go these days you see a huge sign that says "low carb!" like it's the sun shining through a dense cloudy sky with birds and monkeys flying around. the other day someone asked me where the low carb cabbage was. i said "i don't think we have those yet" like an idiot. and then i hit myself on the head after he passed when it hit me he was joking.

either than standing on your feet and sending them into eternal pain, it's really nice talking to all the old people around you. they give all sorts of information, like who had a heart attack last week and went through pneumonia the last time they were on duty and taking laxatives. this one lady told a group of us old ladies how when exlax first came out, her grandmother thought they were candy so she ate the whole bag.

i have come to the conclusion i have a disease. and it is a very grave and serious condition. i keep on wanting to randomly hug cute old people. i am still working on a cure for it, however, the future looks bleak.

Your back, thats good! Sounds like you have a cool job! I always loved to get beauty and food samples in the mail, but I never thought about giving them out! Low carb is stupid I agree-but at least it landed you a job! Old people interest me too, and I find it sweet that you want hug them. I would sure hate being all alone and old in this world. They know much about the past, and actually care about things-other than the youth of today. How is school going? Arr Arr Kung-Fu master!

well, sort of back :/. sorry for replying so late, life gets so hectic when i get back home. the day starts with fighting against the villian dr. lethargy and it's sideckick sandman as it tries to put me into an eternal blanket drill . then after the effect of their toxins wear off, around midday they attack once again, only to see themselves victorious for 30 mins. then if i had enough time and enough wit, then i would continue with this gay comparison to laziness, but lo! tis laziness that prevails most at home, but methinks in a weeks time i should get back to normal blogging since i'll be back colleging.

(yes, blanket drill is actually a synonym for sleep. you should look up the synonym for tv on dictionary.com, they're even stranger)

My, my... an update! I told you I would come back here like a stalker high on life and low-carb snacks to see if you updated. I'm actually a bit sad i didn't notice earlier, but I think you will have forgiven me. Hey, have you ever tasted sauerkraut? It's on a "Low Carb" list I've seen - and it's cabbage... you're not a complete idiot ;)

I think being "Sampler Lady" rocks... can I have some? Awww... and the old people! That's just way too cool. Old people rock, sometimes are as old as rocks, and well... they can rock - (in chairs?)
Hmm. Yes, I am fond of old people. Did I tell you in this ephemeral summer I've spent quite a time in the nursing home - volunteering? Now that's a congregation of octagenarians if I've ever seen one. Playing horseshoes was never more exciting than with them... oh sweet memories.

OK, i'm going to go now, but it was nice to read an update to keep me entertained between my worrying about school starting (senioritis creeps in... :( i have 12 days of freedom) and worrying about my summer assignments piled up (and not doing anything but stare and worry about it). i'll hope to hear from you soon...

I told you I would comment. Har.
I can't belive she ate the whole bag, even if she did think that they were candy... Candy is not good for most old people.
I like low carb cabbage.
I have a disease too, I want to hug cute little babys. (wait, so does everyone else) any ways...
I want a job. a sitting job though, I have awful feet, they always hurt after standing on them for like a minute.
You have to check out my lj at [info]sindygoer_8489
I wish I could say something witty, but that's Michelle's field of expertice...

HEEEEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOOOO.

I have repaired my LJ and now it is safe for you to "friend" for I have already "friended" you onto my ever-growing list.

Now I can stalk you peacefully by checking my friends page. That's kinda sad... I'll miss that form of excitement right before your page uploaded on my computer.

Ah. well, life moves on.

UPDATE soon... whenever you get off your 'updating fast.'

Backdating, backdating my friend.
Babyshower was indeed a place seeable of you.
Aw. Poor cat you hurt. Door slammer. It was a funny story though.
We really ought to start that extreme ironing league soon, before you go off to UT again.
see ya, Dud.
